professions , trades and or jobs what do you do for a living?

I hope I am not being presumptuous when I ask what you and your FW does for a living. Sometimes when you can relate to others and what they do for a living can help us better understand what we are all going through and how to manage time. Or if anything just to network. I thought it was a good idea. SO I will go first.

My Profession : Doctor/Dentist

I am waiting to get a specialty residency in Sept. after our Wedding/Honeymoon ( July 15th 2006) at NYU,Columbia or SUNY Stonybrook.

Her (FW) Profession : Lawyer specializing in
Med- Mal defense.

I work for the federal government as an HR Specialist. I work in many different areas, but mostly specialize in Labor Relations which consist of negotiating with union officials, representing management on various employment issues, etc.

FW has an administrative job right now as she is starting her PhD program in the fall in History. She plans on becoming a professor.
