Hello Anne!

I am getting married at the Miller Place Inn also! April 29, 2001! If you have any questions, you can check with me also! Good Luck!

My future mother-in-law was recently at a wedding at Vineyard Caterers in Riverhead and she is still raving about it two months later. Good Luck!!!

Anne,

As soon as I saw the Miller Place Inn I knew it was the place. No, I am not having my ceremony there but it would be a beautiful place to have one. The grounds are so beautiful! My Italian grandmother would not like it if I didn't get married in a church! Are you having your ceremony there? When is your wedding? Are you dealing with Buddy Marino? Happy Planning!

We have some very important family members(all of our grandparents and an aunt & uncle)and a very dear friend(who would have been in the wedding)who have all passed on. I thought it would be a personal & touching idea to have about 3 or 4 small frames on a table or on top of the piano with a card that read 'Our prayers are with those who could not be with us today.'

I went to a wedding there last year and it was beautiful. It is too far east for our wedding but it was one of the best places I've been to. Good luck.

good luck

Thanks Elizabeth,
I knew the Miller Place Inn was 'it' for me but after reading your post, I'm certain my wedding will be fantastic!!! Good Luck!!

I'm going but I can't remember what time I told them! I think I said 3:00. I'm looking forward to it since it will be my first look at flowers.

Congratulations! It's a beautiful place with fantastic food so I'm sure it will be wonderful! I am having my reception there on April 29, 2001. I'll be sure to let you know how it goes! Happy planning!

My point is that regardless if a particular vendor or catering hall is getting a lot of good or bad 'posts', take the info as a good start. Honestly girls, who cares where the message came from. As a first time bride I know I needed all the help I could get. But I know I would rather keep my personal information, personal. No need for the girls who seem to frequent the board, tell me that because I post so little, they be deemed uncreditable. And just because someone posts late at night, doesn't give anyone the right to accuse them of being a vendor. Personally, I don't work with computers during the day, so the only time I have is at home.
