How do you know what to put in programs..like readings and all...does the priest go over that with you??
We got a booklet when we went to Pre Cana that explained all this and gave us suggestions for the readings. As for the songs, we had to make an appointment with our Church's music director and he helped us pick what songs we wanted.
We got a booklet too. It went over the format for programs and gave us the different choices for readings. And also, I followed a few that I saved from friend's weddings.
Yes, they give you a book at pre-cana with readings you can choose from . You write them on a little 'order form' type thing and give it to the priest.

Ours sent us an outline and I worked from that. We picked our own readings.
