Program Question

I had my parents first, DH parents, then my two grandmothers (that's all I have) then I wrote out MOH and my sister's name then BM and my cousin's name then I put the BM and his name, then GM and his name. That was followed by the priest and deacon's name.
I only had 4 people in the BP so it wasn't too long listing everyone's name.

I put our parents first in our program, because we would not be here without them.

Parents of the Bride:
Mr. and Mrs. First LastName

Parents of the Groom:
Mr. and Mrs. First LastName

I separate the women from the men. I list the women first (the old notion of 'ladies first') in pecky order and then the men. For example:

The Bridal Party

Tina's Attendants:
First LastName, MOH, Relation to the Bride
First LastName, BM, Relation to the Bride
First LastName, BM, Relation to the Bride
First LastName, Jr. BM, Relation to the Bride

Nicholas's Attendants:
First LastName, BM, Relation to the Groom
First LastName, GM, Relation to the Groom
First LastName, GM, Relation to the Groom
First LastName, Jr. GM, Relation to the Groom

It's YOUR wedding, you decide.

I'm doing the same thing. I felt it was more organized this way and also made more sense to me.
But whichever order you do it's probably fine as well. The good thing with this is that there are no rules set in stone.

I did Alpha.. I figured that would be the best way to list everyone-- I also was not sure of the processional at the time of making the programs.

There's a great template for programs in www.Exclusivelyweddings.com

Go into the programs section and then you'll see a place where you can click on template. You use it in MS Word!
