program question.

Are you guys writing out everything on the programs? Like all the readings, prayers, psalms, etc.?

I am because my priest is a mumbler - I want guests to be able to follow along. But Im only having a ceremony (no mass).

We are having a full mass. I am going to list the readings, but not fully write them out. I think it would make the program kind of long.

so you are just going to say 'a Reading from the Book of the Corinthians' in the program - and then the reader takes over.....

I am going to list the reading just like jenny said, then put the reader as well so everyone knows who is doing the reading.

Check with your church. When I went over the program with my priest he said you shouldn't write out the readings.
I printed them with the reading and the reader.

I am doing like debbus too! Just listing the name of the prayer and reader.

I am writing out the readings, psalm, gospel and nuptial blessing that we are choosing and then everything else will just be listed under where it falls in the mass. I like the idea of having a booklet with a couple of pages it in rather than just the verses in the bible where the reading is coming from.

I wrote out everything - because my priest is impossible to understand! Every single thing but the homily is in there. We are having readers also do the prayer of the faithful, which we wrote a lot of ourselves. I actually just finisthed writing my programs last night.

We're having a mass and I'm just putting the names of the readings.

I wrote out all the readings and one song that we had for our candle lighting because the words are really great and the song meant a lot to us.
