Quick Question... is it absolutely necessary to list the ceremony music in the programs?
Just wondering because I REALLY want to print them and get them done with but we are still trying to decide on some short pieces to be played in between parts of the cermeony and music for the sand ceremony and who knows how long it will take us to decide.

Re: Program Question
I don't think it's absolutely necessary!!! Especially if it's more of the short pieces. Don't worry about it!

Re: Program Question
Ok so should I just not list ANY of the music, like not the processional/recessional stuff... or should I list those pieces along with the longer piece for the sand ceremony and just skip the 2 short pieces?

Re: Program Question
I'm a music nut and listed every note that was played... but mind you, the music was one of the biggest priorities for me...so it had been all planned out for months.
in your case, i would list the major pieces. i would definitely add the processional and recessional pieces, everyone is looking at you then, it's important! i would also be sure to include any other major pieces, particualrly if it's a part of the service (i.e. a Psalm during a Mass or ceremony) or any hymns that the congregation would be invited to sing along with. other than that, i wouldn't worry too much about the small stuff like the sand cerermony... it's in the background anyway.

Re: Program Question
I just listed the processional & recessional. If they're just pieces of music, I wouldn't worry about it.
