FH & I are putting together the finishing touches on our programs and we can't decide if we should list the entire reading and who is doing the reading in the program or just the title of the reading and the reader. What did you ladies do? TIA

Re: Program Question
We wrote out the entire reading. If you are doing a church ceremony: reading in a church is very different from reading out loud in a room. You have to be used to the accoustics, feedback, etc. I am a lector so I understand what reading in church entails. Unless the person is accoustom to reading in church I would write it out. That way those at the ceremony know what is being read. Plus if you have anyone that is older it may be better for them to read it as well as hear it.
If not in a church it also depends on the size of the room. It is up to the ability of the readers to be able to project the meaning behind the readings and to have it heard in a clear distinct manner which should give you an idea whether or not to write out the entire readings.
JMO-hope that helps

Re: Program Question
i just put the name of the reading and the person reading it. i just didn't feel like going through the trouble of needing extra paper just to print out the whole readings, since i DIY'd them. I wanted them as simple (but as nice) as possible and only used 1 sheet of paper!
