The priest - who is my uncle just sent me the order of the program

here is his list

Blessing and Exchange of Rings

my question is i know for some i right some sort of description - can someone help me with those and if you have a program please show me thanks

Hi i'm Randee. I'm new here and I haven't posted yet, but I thought I could help with this.... so here's my first post

Are you lighting a untiy candle? Here's what I have in mine.

Blessing and Exchange of Rings
A circle is the symbol of wholeness, perfection, and unity. Like circles, rings have no beginning and no end. They are tokens of the growing relationship that Randee and Anthony have come here to celebrate and confirm.

Lighting of the Unity Candle
'Arioso' by Bach
Randee and Anthony are going to light their Unity Candle, a symbol of their relationship and love. The candles from which they light it have been lit by their parents to represent their lives to this moment.

The lights, representing the faith, wisdom, and love they have received from their parents, are distinct, each burning alone. Randee and Anthony will light the center candle to symbolize the union of their lives. As this one light burns undivided, so shall their love be one.

May the radiance of this one light be a testimony of their unity. May these candles burn brightly as symbols of their commitment to each other, and as a tribute to their parents' everlasting love for them.

and i notice he only has first reading - do you have two

I think you only have 2 readings if you are having a full mass but not 100% sure

I'm pretty sure that Canon in D is standard for the processional, and then Here Comes the Bride for the bride's entrance.

I'm not doing a unity candle, nor am I having a full mass. But I am having two readings. My priest gave us a booklet (I think it's called 'Together for Life' or something like that) to pick our readings from.

i am not having a full mass but doing the unity candle so maybe i will skip the 2nd reading.

oh yes the priest at my church said we will get that book
