Program Question - for brides who had one that looked like a Fan

I'm working on putting a program together and I saw on some program threads that people made theirs look like a fan!! that would be perfect since our ceremony will be outside and i'm sure it will be hot.

I wanted to know how you girls made them -
-either where you went to get them done and then about how much it was
-or if you DIY then how you did it

we're really looking to keep cost down so i want to see if this is something practical to do.

Thanks girls!!

I ordered mine from littlebridalshop.com

The designer worked with me, via email, and they came out GREAT!!!!

It was $230.75 for 100.

But i'm actually more interested in programs that open up into a shape of a fan - i put it in my album under DIY cause ive been having issues with posting pictures

I'm actually going to try and do these starting tonight...I have a template and directions. If you want, FM me your email address and I will email you the templates and stuff.

I'm going to get the 110# ivory cardstock at Staples (like $12 for 250 sheets) I wanted pearlized- but its too expensive plus shipping is a fortune and I can't find it anywhere local. So I'm using plain old ivory and then putting colored ribbon through the rivet.

I DIYed mine..bought a pack of cardstock at Staples...printed them, cut them out with a deckled edge scissor so as to not notice not cutting straight, taped the stick to one back side using packaging tape, used adhesive & glued the second side on.

I bought the sticks at Walmart in the craft section. HTH!

I don't know how many pieces of paper you need but paperandmore.com has 100 sheets of pearlized champagne colored paper for $29.99 and their shipping is only $3 no matter how much you purchase. They were great to deal with also. Very fast shipping.
