my mom had made me save the programs from all the weddings I've been to, and she basically copied bits and pieces from each of them.

Haha I'm doing the same thing. I've been collecting them since we got engaged so when I make mine I'll have a bunch of different ideas

You should speak to the pastor or officiant who is marrying you. When FH and I got engaged, our pastor gave us copies of all the programs from weddings that he has done in the past. We are going to use them as a guideline.
