I designed the cover and inside pages, am going to kinkos for printing. I am printing the cover on heavier cardstock, and the insides pages on thinner cardstock. Then I am going to buy ribbon and tie the pages together.

Here is a picture of the one I made myself (I will use a smaller ribbon on the actual programs).

Yup still haven't done one yet. Hoping FMIL and FFIL ( he is a printer) will do it for us- since they say they want to be involved in everything

Re: Programs....

I tracked down our fonts and downloaded them and then designed our programs in microsoft word, formatted for legal sized paper (8.5' x 14')

In the end we had them printed on 'natural white' linen cardstock (like a whiter ivory) and scored, and we assembled them and tied ribbons on.

I could have printed them myself on thinner paper but the 80lb cardstock is hard to print on.

here are a few pictures:

wish I would have read this before now!!! FH and a coworker stayed late at work-over an hour-to figure that out. We bought the folding programs from Michaels-in a box of 100 for $20 but then used a 40% coupon. I can't upload pics though, it will take some work to do.
