Programs

Are any of you planning on having these at your ceromony?

yea, i think it's nice for guests to know what's going on. No matter where I go (graduation, church, etc) I always like to get a program and follow along. I plan on doing program fans since my wedding is in the summer and will hopefully be outside.

I like the fan idea. I just feel like if I am not having a mass than really what is the point. what info are you putting on yours?

i'm going to put the names of the parents, bridal party, officiant. I'll also include the order of events such as the processional, prayer, reading of vows, declaration of marriage, unity candle, etc. Then I'll probably also include a thank you to our friends family and vendors. I don't have a lot of room to put every single thing that i'd like (like explaining the meaning of the unity candle, jumping of the broom, etc). So instead, I'll have my friends who I couldn't accomadate into my bridal party come up and read the meaning behind whatever ritual we're about to do.

we are def. having them, we will put our names, bridal party names, our parents nme, who is bringing up the gifts at the church, people who we want rememebered in our prayers and the order of the ceremony.

I'm definitely doing the programs. I'm putting the bridal party, the readings, the name of the prietst, and then a dedication to my father and our grandparents.

When you get married in a church do you have readings if you are not having a mass?

im doing programs ...i would like them to be fans ..i myself hope its beautiful out to do the ceremony outside...cros your fingers! and think its a nice personal touch

i'm gonna make programs for my mass at the church. don't know how or what i'm gonna do for them but i'll probably search online for ideas on the style i want.

i love the fan idea!!! but i'm having a spring wedding don't know if that will go with the season i've been looking around for program ideas there are many things out there!!!
