Programs - Quantity

How are you deciding how many to make up? Do you make one for everyone invited to the wedding? Not everyone comes to the church, so I thought it would be a waste. For a guest list of approx. 150 I was thinking of doing 50. I guess its the same with the bubbles. What do you think?

You might want to figure on one per couple, so you could base your decision on the number of invites you sent out, then reduce that a bit to account for the fact that some will not come to the church and you'll get some declines to the invite.

I had 150 people at my wedding and I think I made about 80 and it was definitely enough. Bubbles you can get away with even less. From experience I say, you don''t want 100 people blowing bubbles at you. Just enough to make it pretty for pictures. Plus both of these things are kind of extras. If not everyone gets a program or a bottle of bubbles, they are fine with it (especially the men). Enjoy!

As long as you already have all the information you want to put in the program, you can do them at any point that works in your schedule, which I`m sure you are especially mindful of if you are making them yourself. When I made my favors, I wrapped them all 5 months before the wedding. I was so glad to have another thing checked off on the checklist early and because I was early with it, I was able to fuss a bit more with the wrapping than I would have if I was trying to do it all the week or two before - and therefore had fun with it too. Try to enjoy your plans as well as the wedding day.

I'm making about 100

I'll need copies of the program for the rehearsal so people know what to expect and then for the actual ceremony. I figured 100 should be enough for both days. Better having extras than not enough.
