how much did you spend per program? I see some I really like for about $4 a program, but FH said that he thought it was dumb to pay that much considering we spent so much on invitations already.

Re: programs $ question
I made my own for slightly less than $2 per program. Had I had them made for me they would have been $7 per program for the exact same ones. The only difference would have been that they would be thermography printed instead of flat printed. Had they done them with the flat printing like I did, then they would have been $5 per program. So I saved a lot by doing them myself.

Re: programs $ question
programs were one of the few things we did ourselves... it really was easy. AC Moore or michaels or staples has paper you can buy for them... and a lot of the paper companies even have templates online that you can download and just type in the info and print..... beleive me, i wasnt a DIY girl for our wedding, but these were easy...

Re: programs $ question
I made my own for just over $1 ea. ($1.20-$1.30) I got the paper at paperandmore.com, ribbon at jamali and printed them at home.
Not the best pic but you can get the idea - we used linen paper, a pale pink laid cardstock and added the monogram label and chocolate ribbon to finish it.
i bought 3 packages of program paper on clearance for $2 a pack with 30 each and now i don't think that i am going to use them, i am looking at different ones that i seen on ebay that i was thinking about having done for $1 a piece and they are printed for you

Re: programs $ question
I bought cardstock for .06 cents per sheet, and 3 yards of ribbon for .99 cents. Total cost per program .25 cents.

Made our own--cost $25 for the paper total and about $15 for ribbon for 200 programs.

I got mine for $3 a program. I looked into doing it myself but once I factored in the cost of ink (and my ink jet printer is not the most efficient) it worked about to be about the same.
