so, a very nice bride/friend o' mine got me a good quote for my limo, kinda sorta piggybacking on hers since we are only a week apart s, after weeks and weeks of debate and stagnation on the part of me and fh, he tells me today to book them.
I pick up the phone and dial the number thinking will I actual make progress and accomplish something today and what happens...
she says we have to go there to book in person. Lord knows when I can do that!

Jesss you crack me up!!!! Maybe if you plan something like dinner with FH at a place near there it will motivate you more to go!!!!!
I sometimes wish they can just fax the contracts over!!!! Wouldn't that make life easier?????

That stinks. Can they at least put a hold for your date until you can come in and book. Are they in LI? They just don't understand the trek for us Bklyn/Queens girls. I am going to have to take off one day to see the limos when they have their showcase (only during week) becuase I can't do it after work. I feel your pain.

Yeah, you have to book in person...I sent out the 'quote' sheet to you this morning, so you should get it shortly.

No, what I meant was that I did the contract signing by fax. I never went in person. Ever. Granted I had used them in the past, but I didn't have to go to sign. Maybe they could do the same?
