Has anyone used either the projection screen or plasma tv's with your dj for a photo montage and digital pictures taken at the ceremony, cocktail hour and while the reception is going on? I definitely want to do it but I'm not sure which option is better. Any input would be really appreciated.
ok so FH works in the audio visual field. He said that for this type of occasion, projection screens are probably better because they are cheaper and larger. The plasma screens are nice, but really not neccesary for this type of thing. So if you want to splurge, go for the plasma, otheriwse rear projection is just as good.

the projection screen is not good for a wedding during the day
but plasmas are good for day or night
we are having actually projection tvs (but we may upgrade to plasmas)

I am having plasma's-not to long ago i was at a party that had the projection screen and it took up a lot of room on the floor...I guess it depends on what you plan on showing.
we're doing two plasmas...I hope they are large enough where people can see

What are you ladies being quoted for the projection screen? What company did you rent them from?
i used 2 40inch plasma screens and loved them! we used them because my room was very bright and we wanted to reduce the glare. i also thought it looked more hi-tech .
