Proline and Sentinel Studio Prices

Ok, ladies... this is what I was trying to post on Saturday night before I was suddenly logged out. I really liked both studios. We met with Proline (Astoria office) first. I really liked their work and liked Ed, who is not a photographer. However, the package that we wanted is way too expenisve! Sentinel Studios is a small studio in Westchester (harrison 914-381-3100). FI and I drove up there after meeting with Proline. It didn't take long to get there and was worth the trip. Neftali, the owner, was great. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. His pictures were great and we really liked him. FI feels he is the best traditional photographer we have met with thus far. However, we really want a photojournalistic approach. While he did have candids, his posed were much better. He is EXCELLENT value for the money- quality work. I think that if we hadn't met with Bill Minnick, we would have booked him.

I have not met with either, but my FBIL and his wife used Proline for their wedding May 2004 (Chateau Briand). When they signed their contract, it was for the $3000 package and only booked photo (no video). After the wedding, when they went to do up their album, they shelled out another $2000 b/c they wanted more pics b/c they did not ahve a video, also b/c FMIL wanted more pics in her album.

I liked their work and the photographer was great. I apologize that I do not know the photograher's name and not sure which office they used.

Just wanted to share.

Good luck with your decision.

LOL!!!
