proline review

Well, Proline covered my wedding at the beginning of June. I had read some negative feedback on the boards and I contacted Ron with it in December. He ensured me that I would be getting one of two photographers who I had heard great things about. I was still anxious about using them, so I added a photojournalist to my package.

Needless to say, the week of my wedding I call them to confirm because they never called me and those photographers were booked for other weddings! I was livid. He told me he set me up with a photographer who was familiar with my reception hall and church.

The photographer had never been to my church. He was a REALLY nice guy, but I was FURIOUS with Ron.

I picked up my proofs today. The photojournalist took 246 shots and the regular photographer took 332. We paid a lot of money and I feel that this is less than most places provide.

On top of it, many of the shots were blurry and some had our eyes closed etc... there are a lot of shots that just aren't flattering and I felt like there could have been more shots of the cocktail hr before people entered and the room before people entered etc...I am really disappointed and I plan on writing Ron a letter.

Girls, stay on top of them if you are using them. I had heard they often swith photographers at the last minute, but I didn't think it would happen to me because I had specifically discussed my concerns with Ron!

I will post more when my albums are ready!

Thanks for letting me vent!

I am so sorry that you have had this bad experience but thank you so much for sharing. They had been one of the photographers I had looked at and now I feel better with my choice. Thanks again!

I am so sorry!! Thanks for the review. I also think that the proofs you got is a good number. But, the blurry photos...that is unacceptable!!

Wow- I'm surprised to hear that! They were our second choice and its making me a little glad we didn't go with them... although, friends of ours used them and their proofs and albums were AMAZING...

I hope your albums could out great! I would fight to get something thrown in for free!

I am really surprised to hear that! One of my coworkers just used them & I don't know if they got the photographers they requested BUT I do know that they got over 800 proofs from the photojournalist & close to 400 for the traditional shots.

If you don't mind can you please FM the name of your photographer? I just don't understand how they could promise you a photographer and switch it!
