oH YEA PROMM WHATS THAT? MINE WAS THE ONE THAT WAS AT RUSSO ON THE BAY WHEN THERE WAS A BLACK OUT IN QUEENS IN 03....NEVER GOT TO ENJOY ANYTHING THEY SENT US HOME. :(
haha! that feels like SOOO freakin long ago! our Prom was at Milleridge cottage. i went with a good friend of mine from HS , although i had a boyfriend at the time i didnt go with him (it's better off he was a complete ***)...but then i dound out that this friend of mine wanted to 'hook up with me' so i was disgusted the whole time b/c i didnt like him like that. i wouldnt even dance with him, lol! the funny thing is....last year, i got a random call from the local newspaper telling me that they were writing an article about PROM, 'then and now' and my old prom date who works for the paper wanted to put us in it! i was so freaked out b/c i didnt even remember anything about it! lol! but, i agreed to do it, and they had my prom pic in the paper and everything....crazy! WHere did everyone else have their prom?
ours was at cresthollow and it was awful. My HS was not normal and I didn't date anyone, ever! I ended up going solo with a friend of mine that was going solo and we went in the limo with all of my friends. We rented an awesome navigator limo but then the limo company called us the night before and told us the limo was confiscated because kids were drinking in it (to this day I say it is complete bull and they were just offered more $$$ for the limo we were supposed to be in). So they gave us a party bus, it was hideous, it looked like a decorated access-a-ride van. Then we went to sound factory after and my 'date' drank too much and we got kicked out of sound factory because she was throwing up all over the place. Worst night of my life.
craziness! Jess, your story reminded me of how at my Prom there was a limo (not mine)....where the driver was driving drunk! the people in the limo realized that something wasnt right so they made him pull over and called the cops....something like that, i forget the details, i think they might of missed prom, maybe not....i could be wrong. but that's crazy right! there was an article in the paper about it the next day!
Aww I miss that! I didn't know FH until college, but still had a great time at prom! Ours was at the Marriot Marquis in Times Square... then we went out to Montauk for the weekend... hard to believe it's already been 5 years!
