Pronovias Question

Hi Ladies,

I saw 2 Pronovias dresses at the Designer Loft today and loved both. I'm still early in the dress search but was wondering - do you think it would cost more/less/the same to go to the Pronovias flagship store in NYC for the same dresses? TIA!

Re: Pronovias Question

I got my dress at the Pronovias Flagship Store. I have no idea how much the dresses you saw were but you can FM me if you want for info on mine. If you tell me the model or what they cost there I might even be able to help you further.

Also, the Pronovias Flagship Store does NOT charge for alterations, so thats a help.

Re: Pronovias Question

Hi, I just bought my Pronovias gown and LOVE it! I also went to Designer Loft as well as the Pronovias flagship store in Manhattan. While the service at Pronovias flagship store is excellent, their prices are outrageous (in my opinion). I went to House of Botticelli in Bronxville (Westchester County) because they are an authorized Pronovias retailer, and they had the SAME exact dress I tried on and fell in love with at the Pronovias flagship store (2009 collection) for literally half the price! All-inclusive alterations are an extra $400, but I still ended up saving well over $1k. Service was even more wonderful at Botticelli. So, I suggest you shop around the authorized Pronovias retailers before buying from the flagship store.

Hope that helps!

Re: Pronovias Question

I would be careful buying from an outside retailer...I know all of the dresses from Pronovias are made in Spain and I just trust the flagship store plus they give you 10% off and FREE alterations

Re: Pronovias Question

I purchased a Pronovias gown and I paid cheaper through another store than the one in Manhattan. If you want you can FM for more info. HTH
