Uh, dumb question...is your family Macari vineyards? Seems with the wine like that is the case :)

Ok-- my proofreading comments..
Your first wine description seems slightly inconsistent with the rest. The others are much more descriptive.. If this was done on purpose, ok.. the other wines are listed in such great detail, I think it should be the same format.
Also, on the Tilapia entree.. I don't think you need the comma before 'and Jasmine rice'. If you changed it to 'with' the comma would be more appropriate.

thanks..I can't find anything on the first wine. I will keep looking. In regard to the tilapia, that would make two withs in the sentence. tanks for the help

I think you can remove the comma-- but it can go either way..
If you can't find more on the wine-- you can just write something that makes it a little longer, but really doesn't say anything more like.. perfect for pairing with pastas or for comlimenting the combined flavors of the risotto, etc.

Re: Proofreaders...please critique menu TIA
IMO...i would have more of a description of the food everyone was eating than a suggested wine..I would cut down on the description of the wine to at least match the food options...4 lines describing a wine is a bit much imo it just looks more like a wine selection than a wedding dinner menu

sounds good...Poor us, if me and FH were there, we'd be drinking all the wine because we dont eat much of the rest...are there any vegetarian choices? You may want to put ' Vegetarian upon request'

REALLY? We are having 190 and I dont know what HALF them eat? I only stated that as well because Some people , like my FH would not eat any of the meat choices if anything was dded to it, and even not being a vegetarian would ask for that meal possibly..

Re: Proofreaders...please critique menu TIA
My fi was a full fledge vegetarian for 11 years and just recently converted back. So we are really sensitive about people who are veggie. There are people coming who eat fish...but no one who doesn't eat anything. And if for some reason they don't want the menu, they can get a vegetarian meal anyway.

I really like the description of the wines with each entree, I would love to read something like that at a wedding I was invited to. Does the 'Porcini Mushroom and Roasted Tomato Risotto with Shaved Reggiano Cheese with Truffle Oil and Balsamic Reduction,' come with the truffle oil and balsamic reduction already on it , if it does then I would word it as Porcini Mushroom and Roasted Tomato Risotto with Shaved Reggiano Cheese, Truffle Oil and Balsamic Reduction. It doesn't really make a difference though. I love the garlic and herb mashed potatoes...it sounds delicious.
