Proofs from my August 7, 2004 Vanderbilt Mansion Wedding

Well we finally picked up our proof book this Saturday from my parents' house and the cd rom our photographer made for us. We are in the process of going through them but I posted some in a photo album. Here's the link:

For some reason when I was uploading the pictures got all out of order and it was really slow reordering them, so the sequence is a little strange. Also I wasn't able to re-rotate some of the pictures, so my apologies for any neck cramps.

The photographer we used was Denise Chastain of Modern Wedding Photography. We chose her because we wanted a lot of candids and the photojournalistic style.

Now to picking out the photos for our album

Those pics are great- I second the shoes! I would love to do a funky colored shoe as well..

Thank you! I got so many compliments on the red shoes. I couldn't find any shoes that matched my dress and dying a pair of shoes would have been complicated--I didn't have a sample of the material of the dress to bring to a dyer. I knew that I wanted to have fun and sexy shoes and I just love red shoes.

I have to give you snaps for the red shoes too...and the gorgeous roses (your bouquet and centerpieces). Such a romantic wedding (sigh)....

Ohhh I love those pics. I can't wait for my wedding there... Question though.. Did you have Burtons make the flowers for the piano or did the site provide them... My crazy mom thinks the Vanderbilt people said they decorate the cocktail hour including the piano.. I don't believe her Let me know.
