proofs too big

how do you shrink the file size of a picture?

so many of my proofs are so big they wont upload into slideshows, or even email to others.

help!

Thats the thing about Duet proofs...I had to upload them here and it took forever...I couldn't bother with Kodak or Shutterfly...it would take too long...

i cant even send them to rock you to make a sideshow for my myspace......another thing for me to get annoyed about....

Yeah I don't think there is anyway of resizing them...that I know of. You know what I am wondering...if I can take the CD that Duet gave us to DR or CVS, upload them there onto their CD, and have them save the pictures smaller. Im also wondering if we can print them elsewhere...what do you think?

i dont know - i know that mil brought a proof to cvs and wanted a copy and they acted like what she was asking - she said forget it and left for fear she would get arrested!!

ill figure something out.....

What type of files are they? What's the extension? Most likely if you have photoshop or know someone who does they can save them in a lower resolution which will make them smaller.
