Proper Gifting HELP

I would give back what they gave you.

ETA: I had a LOT of people not give back what we gave them..and for a lot of them we were in college at the time and their weddings were a lot cheaper and i was pizzed off. I know yours is more $$, but they might not be thinking that way. I'd still give back the same.

It's very tricky I think that you should give them what you feel is right. You dont have to give them exactly what they gave you.

i always make note what people give cause i hate going out of my way and not getting it back in return so what they give me i give them right back...

I have a spreadsheet with the amount every guest gave me because in the future I'm going to give back the same, Unlike others that didnt gift....they will never get a penny from me.

same! I'm not going to discriminate WHERE they have their weddings. I'm going to give what they gave us. I am the first of my friends to get married so...i have a good guide

oh no, i wasn't saying YOU were! I was saying that for me I'm using my list as a guide and give them back what they gave us, even if some choose to elope or some have super expensive weddings in the city. You are doing the right thing by giving them what they gave you
