proper ID for license?

In Nassau, aside from the photo ID which I'm assuming I can just use my license, what can we use for the other ID needed for a marriage license?

Oh, and we dont need to bring our rings right?

One more... FH can only find a copy of his birth certificate, is that acceptable? Or can he use a passport instead?

You need your drivers license and birth certificate.

From website:
Proof of Age and Identity
A person is required to establish proof of age and identity by submitting to the issuing clerk one of the following age related documents:

Birth Certificate
Baptismal record
Naturalization record
Census record

And one of the following identity related documents:

Driver's license
Passport
Employment picture ID
Immigration record

passport if you need to.

If you're going to a city clerk (one of the 5 boroughs) you only need one form of ID, as long as it's govt issued, i.e. driver's license or passport.

All we used were birth certificate and passport, and that was enough ID for them.
