Just thought it would be nice to share, maybe even a picture on how the proposal went down.
My proposal took place at the school im teaching at. I teach autistic children in the city. I asked him to come take some boxes home since it was the end of the year. When he came, I went to go my supervisor to help us load the boxes. By the time distractions happened and I got back to the room. My children were holding signs, Will You Marry Mr. Brad? with my FH on his knee. Half of my coworkers were in my room, all with tears. It was out of a story book.
The funny part is when I started crying, my students thought something happened to me because they dont understand emotions, so all of the children started tantruming.
A moment I will never forget.

WHILE ON A VACATION IN LAS VEGAS CELEBRATING OUR 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY ,DANIEL MADE RESERVATIONS FOR A ROMANTIC DINNER AT THE EIFFEL TOWER RESTAURANT. WHEN WE ARRIVE THERE THE MAITRE'D EXPLAINED TO US THAT OUR TABLE WAS NOT AVAILABLE YET, BUT WE COULD GO TO THE TOP OF THE TOWER AND BY THE TIME WE RETURNED THE TABLE SHOULD BE OPEN. AFTER CLOSING MY EYES THE ENTIRE TIME UP TO THE TOP OF THE TOWER, WE FINALLY ARRIVE 460 FEET ABOVE THE LAS VEGAS STRIP. DANNY THEN ENCOURAGED ME TO TAKE SOME PICTURES OF MY FAVORITE HOTEL. HE CALLED MY NAME AND WHEN I TURNED AROUND , HE WAS ON ONE KNEE AND EVERYONE ON THE OBSERVATION DECK WAS SPEECHLESS. EVERYONE WHO WAS GATHERED AROUND US WAITED FOR ME TO SAY YES AND WHEN I DID THE DECK WAS FILLED WITH APPLAUSE. IT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING. AFTER THE OBSERVATION DECK, WHEN WE RETURNED TO THE RESTAURANT, ALL THE STAFF ASKED TO SEE MY RING AND CONGRATULATED ME, AS THEY ALL WERE IN ON THE SURPRISE THE ENTIRE TIME.. WE WERE THEN BROUGHT TO THE BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE, OVERLOOKING THE BELLAGIO FOUNTAINS. WHEN WE SAT DOWN THERE WERE A DOZEN ROSES ON THE TABLE AND A PERSONALIZED MENU WITH THE WORDS 'IN HONOR OF REN AND DANIELS ENGAGEMENT.' THE NIGHT WAS UNFORGETTABLE.

ren that is the coolest thing in the world that you have a video of your engagement...both very nice story
My Fh was planning on asking me to marry him for months but something always happened like his cousin got engaged the same day he wanted to once and stuff...then i went into labor a month early when he also planned to do it...poor guy!
So after out son was born he was like a month out he comes running into the bedroom telling me to wake up the baby wont stop crying and he doesnt know what to do...i go into the living room and there is candles lite on the floor in the shape of a heart with the ring in the middle...so he got down on my one knee and asked me to marry him
funny part is didnt even catch that the baby was sleeping in the crib next to the damn bed and totally wasnt crying lol

FH and I love going into the city and spending the afternoon in Central Park. One day FH said 'We should go into the city this weekend'. The weather had been really nice at the time and we had the same days off (somewhat rare) so I figured OK! I'm thinking he knows I LOVE going into the city, going to the zoo, walking around and always going back to the row boats and the boat house. (has significant meaning since we started dating )
We went to Central Park's Boat house and spent the afternoon on the lake. I ALWAYS have my camera with me. I told FH I wanted to stop and take a few picturse and he said OK. We found a quiet/private area for me to take a few pictures of the lake and us. The 'dork' that I am, I balanced the camera on a tree trunk, set up the timer on the camera and ran back to FH to take a few pictures. As I continued to do this.... FH pulled out a RING. As the pictures were snapping he calls my name and tells me to 'look' SO I looked at him.... he's like 'No, look down' and he was holding a RING!! As the pictures continued to snap he proposed! I said YES! Gives new meaning to 'Picture Perfect'
