Pros and Cons in Buying a Wedding Dress.....

Whole sale? Gals, I have the opportunity to buy the dress at wholesale through friend of a friend. It sounds great, but, please give me your input. I am clueless. I know one con would be that I would need to find a seamstress who does bridal gowns. Also, can every dress be altered? I know it sounds silly but, I thought I saw a thread about someone not able to cut the length of her dress. I am clueless..please help>

i think it woud be ok.....as long as it is close to your size and needs minor alterations...most people need that anyway..but if it is too big/small size-wise i might hold off just b/c it might not be altered as easily or nicely.....
