Prosessional

Prosessional

I am getting married in a Catholic church. FH wants his parents to walk him down the aisle, which I am not ecstatic about, but if he wants it then what can I say. My issue is that then my mother will not be part of the ceremony, and my belief is that she should before his parents. So, would it look weird to have her & my grandmother walk down together after him & his parents?

My Mom walk down the aisle half way with my step dad. Where he waited for me and my biological dad where we switched and my step dad walked me the rest of the way. She walked the rest of the way by her self. SO I think if you have her walk out before the bridal party that would look fine.

My DH was walked down the aisle by both of his parents and I was walked down the aisle by both of mine. I wanted his parents to feel that they played just as an important role in our wedding as my parents.

What I did was have the processional music start so that everyone was paying attention.

My grandmother walked down the aisle with my uncle

DH and his parents

Our Bridal Party

Me and my parents

To answer your question, have your grandmother and mom walk down the aisle together first than your DH, etc. There is no 'right' way to do this - it is all a matter of personal preference.

I'm having my grandparents, then his sister and bro in law, his parents, my sister and cousin, my mom, then FGs and RBs, then me and my dad
