There are two coworkers that are going through radiation therapy and are using the seed treatment. We attend daily meetings together and use the same conference room. Is there any risk in sitting in the same chair they sat in? I only ask this because one of my coworkers mentioned that they cannot go 3 feet near pregnant women or children because of the radiation.

I've definitely heard that children and women of child bearing ages need to stay far away from those who are undergoing seed treatment...But as far as sitting in the same chair---I really don't know the answer...I would only guess that it doesn't pose a risk...But if you're concerned, maybe you should ask your doc.
