Re: Protocal for realeasing butterflies!!
My cousin did this at her wedding! and I'm looking into doing it but have to ask the church it did not say anything about butterflies being released but I know that I cannnot release doves because we are in the flight path of McArthur airport. I would think it would depend on the church......

Oh I see!! I have always been a big fan of the release of butterflys! It was done at my FH's cousins wedding which was sooo beautiful!! They had it at the Pleasantdale Chateau in NJ....MY dream wedding but -- not in my budget.. hehe

Re: Protocal for realeasing butterflies!!
I hate to be a debbie downer, but.... I don't like the idea of a butterfly release. I feel bad for the poor things. They have to be frozen and often times half of them are dead upon delivery or disoriented from the freezing process and don't fly away. Then they also can't find their way home and die trying to find their way back. Read more about it here.

Oh that does sound kind of sad... I didn't know about the whole process. Maybe doves will be better.
