There is a discount store on 8th avenue that has the chinese slippers for a buck in all colors and sizes. I will go at lunch today to get the exact name. Let me know if anyone needs it.

I'm still debating on whether or not to do the slipper basket.

Ok I am back!
They had every color and size available. Here are the ones I remember seeing,
black, red, white, pink, purple, light blue and YES Yesenia they had brown.
The place is called Joey New York. It is on 8th between 35th and 36th. The number is 212-279-3160.
They also had every color pashmina for 4 bucks. They are open to 8pm daily.
