I realized it because I got an email saying I had gotten a gift but when I went to the registry there was no sign of it. I checked my PayPal to determine what the gift was and emailed them to update the registry. I would say just check your registries in case you're impacted.

Honeyfund is AWESOME.
It doesn't cost anything to sign up. You can get advanced features (basically a prettier site) for $29 and they say you get more money that way but we didn't do that. We've gotten most of our excursions covered through shower and wedding gifts.
People can choose what they want to give you and make a pledge. Once they've made a pledge, they can either give you the cash at the wedding (the site gives you a certificate you can print out to say what it's for), or they can pay immediately into your PayPal account (most people have done this). PayPal charges a 3% transaction fee, but that's the ONLY fee involved. Most other honeymoon registries charge a 7% fee.
