So one of DH's friends is getting married. A few weeks ago the BM of the bride told me I was getting invited to the shower April 2nd. Well, I bought a gift since I knew I would be away all last week. And no invite yet. I'm just pissed. I'm not going to call and say where's my invite, but no one called me to ask why I didn't RSVP, which I think they would if the invite had gotten lost in the mail.

I had the same thing happen with my FSIL's baby shower. I was told I would be invited and then never got the invite. Her MIL decied not to invite me, after my FMIL had already amde arrangements for us to drive there together, etc
