Re: Puerto Rico???

OF COURSE, I'm Puerto Rican!!!!!!!! I was born and lived there for a long time before moving to NYC. I know the country VERY WELL.
What would you like to know specifically????
The resort is situated in a nice area. It's fairly close to the capital San Juan, which is a few minutes away. I noticed the SJ Hotel and Casino is close, that's fun, and there's a lot of nightclubs and lounges on the main street. If you plan on doing activities that involve sightseeing, they're definitely out of town...you can always get tours.
Overall, you're in the center of everything, the airport is closeby also.

I always recommend that people check out tripadvisor before booking a trip anywhere to see reviews of people that actually stayed there.

I am going to Puerto Rico in 3 weeks for my bachelorette party and book the Marriott Solaris Casino Hotel for $125 a night on priceline!

I stayed at the Intercontinental right next to it. It is very pretty and very relaxing. If you are beach people, this is for you. Also at night they have casinos, dinner, dancing. Its fun and romantic. You can also go to old San Juan in the day time.

i stayed in ESJ Towers twice and it was comfortable...nothing top of the line, but nice...... its not a 'honeymoon hotel' but who cares about that....but its perks are that the beach is the hotels back yard.....and your next to the Wyndaym cool club

I am going to PR for my honeymoon because my FH is 1/2 Puerto Rican and he has never been there, so we figured that this was the best opportunity to go! We are very excited! I have heard many good things. We are staying at the Westin Rio Mar Golf & Spa Resort in Rio Grande

I have visited san juan for a short amount of time. But I loved it! And the people were very nice and it was beautiful! Go for it!!! They speak english and use american money- so you dont have worry about any of that!!! And it is a quick flight.
