So FH and I's cruise leaves from, Puerto Rico. Has anyone been? Where would you reccomend staying?

Yes - we are staying one night there before the ship leaves.

we got engaged in PR, have been ther twice so far... we stayed at the el san juan both time and LOVED it, awesome restaurants, and great night life

I have been to the El San Juan also- loved it
What cruise are you going on? I am also leaving from san juan for a cruise to the southern carribean on carnival.

Ive been to PR many times - its one of my absolute fav vacation spots! Great weather, great food! I reccommend the El San Juan or the Intercontinental.

FH is from Puerto Rico...San Juan is beautiful...definitely try to stay at the El San Juan Hotel and Casino. It is SO nice! There is also a Marriott not too far from there that is nice too, just not right in the heart of the city. Let me know if you want some restaurant recommendations

i am a HUGE fan of pr..ive been about 5 times my fav. place to stay is the caribe hilton..its beautiful, and a very short bus ride to old san juan and the cruise ports

I love PR! DH and I are going again in Oct! I would stay at the El San Juan hotel and casino. thats where we end up to gamble and have some drinks. Always nice there

I am going there too on my honeymoon 3 weeks after you!!!
We are staying in the Condado Plaza Hotel for 6 nights then going on the Southern Caribbean Cruise.
Anyone ever stay there before??

Crashing! I Looooooooove PR. FH and I still talk about the bio bay there, it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life.If you have the chance, seriously consider doing it. It was amazing and sooo worth it.
We stayed at the caribe hilton and looved it. Apparently they have the only private beach in PR. Or atleast that's what they told us. LOL. Enjoy it!
