DH and I went to PV to celebrate our first anniversary. We stayed at Dreams (all-inclusive). I highly recommend it! The food, service and grounds were amazing. They have a beautiful private beach that is flanked by cliffs on both sides, so only guests of the hotel and authorized vendors are there. It is a short cab ride from town ($4), although we only went into town once. My only complaint would be that the rooms could use an upgrade. That being said, we stayed in a standard room in the old tower. I believe the rooms in the new tower are nicer. Regardless, the rooms were large and clean. It is not like you spend too much time there anyway. Have a great time, and definately take the canopy tour with Los Veranos!!
