Puerto Vallarta??

Hey Girls!!

Looking for places for our honeymoon, and came across Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! Has anyone ever been there before, and if so where did you stay? And most importantly what did you think?? :)

YAYYYYY!! Go to Barcello... la jolla de mismaloya...
Its like 20 minutes from town more secluded. It is an all inclusive resort (suites only!!!) you get upgraded for your honeymoon!! Look into it. That's where we were when we got engaged! Pool was awesome! Lots of local places to go for amazing food (FH said so he's a chef.) Food at resort was awesome. You want it you got it. You can also upgrade to premium (i think they do it for you automatically when you go for your honeymoon). STAFF WAS AMAZING!!! The bartender at the pool took us out one night! Soooo much fun. Defiantly look into it. We only went into town once on the tour b/c i feel like alot of the towns are a like. We loved the resort. SOOOO clean, stacked mini fridge, great food and staff! We loved it soooo much we are so worried about booking our honeymoon b/c this set the bar sooo high!

I went there about 7 years ago with two of my best friends and we had an amazing time! I will say though that where our hotel was the water was not that tropical blue color – it pretty much looked like the water here. But we went on a snorkeling trip and when we took the boat out the water was really blue.

We had a ton of fun but it was more of a spring break type of trip – we mostly slept all day and went to the bars at night, so I’m not sure how it would be for a HM. Good luck!

I've been to puerto vallarta before. Imo, it's more of a family place then honeymoon place. But my parents went there on their honeymoon years ago.
