Puglise Vineyards

Anyone ever see try their wines? I was going to do Pindar but a friend told me that Pugliese hand paints the bottles and that they are beautiful!

I called and they said they were $5.75 per bottle and they offered a blush and a white. I think I'll try to head down there next weekend.

I too was wondering about that vineyard, I heard they also have dessert wines. Would you pick the white, blush or do a mixture of both?

I tried 2 of their wines and I liked them. Also received it as a favor from my brother's wedding and it was really nice.

Over the two I would prob. choose the dessert wine- I'm assuming that's there blush they told me about.

Although it does sound nice to mix the two.

Pugliese wines IMO are much better than Pindar's. I did get engagd there though so I might be a little biased We're also planning to give away a bottle of wine (probably dessert) as one of our favors.

The blush I know of is their Dolce Patricia sparkling wine, which is pink and slightly dry. It's very good. They also have a sparkling merlot which is really different.

Their good chardonnays are Chardonnay Gold and White Table Wine. The dessert wines are all pretty good. I think the Late Harvest Niagra is pretty tasty. I love dessert wines!

One word of caution--if you choose these as your favor, you might want to include a little description of dessert wines to let people know that they are meant to be had in smaller quantities than a normal wine. A lot of people aren't familiar with dessert wines and the fact that you really don't want to drink a full 8 oz of them at one sitting!

good luck!

Pugliese Wines are very good.

We like the Red Table Wine, the White TAble wine and their Rieseling (excellent choice - smaller bottle and it tastes so good!!)

We love going Wine tasting every year and always hit up Pugliese & pindar.

I know for a fact that they do personalization.

Take a trip and check it out - wine tasting is always a great day spent.
