I heard people recommend the Bravaro as well. There is also an Excellence in Punta Cana and I know you went to EPM for your honeyroom (since you replied to my post!)
(FYI... we booked EPM for our 5 night minimoon yesterday so thanks for your advice!! )

I just went there in January, it was wonderful. We stayed at H10 Ocean Blue & Sand. It was beautiful but being inclusive the food was not so great.

We got engaged at the Majestic Colonial In July 2008, it was so beautiful and the most relaxing vacation we ever went on. The food is okay but i am very picky. The pool alone was amazing and having our room right there was fantastic. That's where we spent most of the time. Hope to go back real soon!

Yes! The Melia Caribe Tropical! I love it, stayed there a 3 times. Beautiful beach, ton of great resteraunts, nightlife/casino/club. I've stayed at Secrets Excellence, it was nice but nowhere as nice as the Melia

Excellence!!! Me and FH went there on vacation last May. They have approximately 8 resturants and you can go to any of them any time you want. The food and drinks were DELICIOUS!!! Even the room service was fantastic!!! They have a French resturant there that has the best steak I have ever eaten in my entire life!! You won't be disappointed at all!!

Paradisus Punta Cana...been there 5 times after going to MANY different Islands we keep going back here. Food is good (which is rare in the DR) and there is a night club and casino..beach is gorgeous.

Paradisius Palma Real. They have two Paradisius on the island, but Palma Real is the more romantic one.
