I've only been to Melia Tropical in Punta Cana but great choice!

We have been thinking of going to Dreams as well, but I haven't spoken to anyone who has been there. I've heard great things about Excellence, but I've also heard that La Romana (where Dreams is) is much nicer than Punta Cana (where Excellence is). Do you ladies agree?

if you go to la ramona casa de campo is best place to stay....i'm from DR and love my goregous country but there is nothing like punta cana!!!

I've gone to Excellence, not Dreams. I did a ton of research between the two and although the reviews for both were better, I felt like the reviews were a tad bit better for Excellence.

The food at Excellence was probably the best food I have ever had in my entire life!!!!
AMAZING!!! There wasnt one thing I disliked!!! I had sooooo much fun. The drink were GREAT!!
OHHH, and room service is 24hrs and still taste phenomenal!!!

I'll be honest- I went in May last year. We went for 7 days..half of those days it either rained or was cloudy.... but I still had a blast. HTH.
