Re: Puppy-Playdate
I dont know of any doggie parks! I just used to bring my dog to a puppy play that my dog trainer used to coordinate and she held it at an inclosed field at a school- however you have to be one of her clients
but i can ask her if she knows of any places...

Re: Puppy-Playdate
the only thing we have to be careful about is bringing our pups just anywhere. Cause my cousin used to do that with her 4 dogs and got in trouble by hte cops...saying they all had to be on leashes and then the second time she did it people were complaining cause there were children around etc. so we might need to find an actual doggy park haha

My pup is a little too big (60lbs) to play with your little pups!
What bread Andrea? I have a Jack Russel, who thinks he's a Great Dane

There are a few around the Island, the one we go to most is n Manhasset Christoper Moorely. I think this is the best for the first b/c I see that alot of those interested are in Queens..
I definitly wanted to do this when it was first brought up but nobody seemed to act on it so I thought it wasn't gonig to happen. Count me in!

Re: Puppy-Playdate
There is a great place in Stony Brook...its by the duck pond. There are great hiking trails behind the duck pond. Maggie and Abby love it there. You have to keep them on the leash...but thats fine with me. Anyone else besides me this far east?
