Puppy Update (sorry its long!)
well, last week I posted that my dog had to have surgery and that she had a tumor they feared might be cancerous.
Well here is our update, she had her surgery 1 week ago today. She actually had 2 tumors on in her tail, one in her butt. The one in her tail cannot be removed because it would leave a hole that wouldnt heal. But they took the one out of her butt and besides the stitches she is okay.
She came home from the vet that night looking like she was in a bar room brawl. Her front paw bandaged where the IV (I think) went in, her tail bandaged to all it to heal (she had been biting/liking it which opened a wound where the tumor was) and her but shaved and stitched Oh and the best part, I had a cone head dog![]()
That was the worst part seeing her with a cone on her head, bumping into things, scaring herself and just plain annoying everyone including herself.
For 2 days all she did was sleep but now she is back to normal (and we removed the cone because she cracked it)
Anyway, we just found out she does NOT have cancer!!!!![]()
She goes in 1 week to have her stitches removed and shes as good as new!!
Thanks everyone who showed concern! I admit I was really worried but it was nice to hear such nice things from everyone!
