For those of who purchased your gowns online-which sites did you use and who did your alterations? Any suggestions/helpful hints? Thanks!

I was going to do this, but found a seamstress in Midtown who'd purchase the gowns at the internet price & then do alterations.
I was gonna use either Pearls Place or Netbride. I know somone who used Pearl's Place & was very happy with her gown.

I used bestbuybridals.com and gownsonline.com - all the dresses came in within 4-6 weeks and were perfect.
I didn't order my gown online only the BMs. My MIL is a seamstress, so she did all the alterations.

I bought my dress from Bridesave.com and had it altered at Creative Needle (Michael) in Bayridge, Brooklyn. It all worked out fine and I saved a lot of $$$.
