i would still use dark purple but put ivory flowers in it as well so they stand out against a black dress
ETA: I just looked at the pic i think its perfect

i actually wore a black dress for my sister's wedding, with a white sash and carried purple/blue flowers. it looked gorgeous!

I actually thought before I looked at the photo that it wouldn't go, but with the visual I think it'll look great with the black and ivory even if you don't put ivory int he bouqet. Very pretty!

I love how a lot of colors look w/ black because they really pop, but these flowers are just a little too dark to me.

Hmm that looks like a darker purple to me no??
Maybe I'll do the mix of purples. She doesn't do samples. I wish I could get a sample and put it up with the dress to see.

hmmmm i'm not positive but it looks like anemones, some kind of berries, a few orchids, and i'm not sure what the darker purple ones are but i'll try to find them
