push carts

Has anyone ever been to a wedding where they had those street vendor cart things? I read in an article that a bride had rented a hot dog cart for her wedding...I will be a fall bride and I was thinking of getting a roasted chestnut cart and serve warm cider as the guests leave. Do you think this is cheesy? Anyone have ANY idea what this would run or who I could contact for this?

I think that is a cute idea! I don't know where you would be able to rent one, but I'll be sure to ask around!

OH GOD! I think taht sounds AMAZING! I love roasted chestnuts and the apple cider idea is SOOOOOOOOOOOO awesoem for fall! DO IT DO IT!

That sounds like a fabulous idea!!! Very original! Maybe you could ask your hall. They might be able to set it up for you.

I love apple cider! I think its a wonderful idea. Your hall could probably do the cider. I would call and ask.

never heard of it or seen it, however i do think a push cart is not appropriate if your trying to have a classy very formal event / versus something just funn and laid back JMO

I think it is a very cool idea to have as guests are leaving. And I just opened a magazine (BizBash) and they have a little article about places with this kind of stuff. Here's what they list:
