Re: 'Put down that Twinkie!' - The Buff Brides Thread
I love this thread what a great idea!
Thanksgiving is going to be tough . Even though I don't eat meat there are still so many other tempting things, especially when dessert time rolls around. And I love to bake so Ia m constantly tempted to bake pies and leave one at home for me and the FH.
It is going to be hard!

Aarrgghh! My mom, trying to be nice, just came by with all the vegetarian stuff they had left over from the Thanksgiving potluck they had at her job - macaroni and cheese, cornbread, crescent rolls, chocolate star thingies, sweet noodle pudding. I really, really, really have to work out this afternoon so I can be more sensible about all the pigging out that is going to ensue tonight.

Wait, you taught a class for 2 hours? You work at a gym? Ziti or no, you must be so fit!
I did 30 minutes of exercise tonight (10 minutes of cardio to warm up and 20 minutes of biceps and shoulders). Better than nothing, I guess?

I'm sick! Doesn't that mean I get to eat whatever I want? I think those are the rules.

No. Bladder infection. Soooooo annoying and uncomortable. I just started the antibiotics and don't feel better yet, nothing is making me feel better... FH suggested cookies, and I might take him up on it!

Ugh I know those are the worst. You should definitely take FH up on those cookies, they're known to help bladder infections. Seriously, I read it somewhere.

i suffer from chronic bladder infections.
I ALWAYS have a full prescription of macrobid in my bag at all times. Plus cranberry pills too.
I find that they come on at the oddest times so i always like to be prepared.

Well my wisdom tooth is still bothering me( if you remember I was cranky because of it and was horrible to FH on our anniversary). It is now infected and I havent been able to bite down. So other than mashed potatoes on saturday and yesterday. I havent really eaten in 4 days. I'll be P'd off if i'm not losing weight. I wish i Can do my pilates, but when i started to on friday, all the pressure went to the tooth

Okay, so I decided: Holidays coming up be darned - the time to start working out is NOW! I used to have really muscular arms, and the other day I went to scratch an itch on my tricep, and all l felt was mush. That's not me! I was horrified. So, Saturday I went to the gym and did 45 minutes of Cardio. And today, I worked out at home - I used the iO digital cable free on demand channel and did 10 minutes of Cardio Kickboxing, 10 minutes of Pilates for Abs, 10 minutes of Buns, and 25 minutes of my Kathy Smith Toned Upper Body tape. 55 minutes!
Woo!!! I feel like a champ!

Definitely. But there comes a time when you just gotta sit down and tell the arm flab, 'I don't want to make it rough. I just want to tell you that I've had enough. You may hate me but it ain't no lie - BYE BYE BYE'
(so? I find inspiration through music. so sue me. )
