Some Einstein-like genius has birthed a new age in gastrointestinal delights. It's called....

The Bacon Explosion, aka 'The BBQ Sausage Recipe of All Recipes'.

Take two pounds of bacon. Three if you have balls.

Weave the uncooked bacon strips together in a basket-weave type pattern.

Take two pounds of sausage, and remove from casing. Spread on your square bacon weave.

Take cooked and crispy bacon, and sprinkle on top of sausage.

Roll up entire thing into a log shape. Coat with BBQ sauce. BBQ.

Cook for 1 hour per inch of thickness (!), or prepare in a smoker for extra awesomeness.

Taste the adventure.

This is a mere 5,000 calories, and only about 500 grams of fat.
