omggg Fh came home from work yesterday (technician for GE so he goes to peoples houses) and he has a paper with shiba inu written on it saying how much he wants one. we already have bailey (4) a chocolate lab, and coco and boxer rotti mix (12), so we wont be getting another one for a while, but he wanted this dog. sooo cute! can i ask how he/she gets along with your other dog??TIA

Hi there. He is difficult around the other dogs. He is little aggressive, and does like to 'play fight' a little. We are getting him some outside obedience training though. We had hoped that he would calm down after we got him fixed, but he didn't.
He only has his little 'episodes' every once in a blue moon though, and he is an absolute sweetheart when he is calm. Also, I have been told that females are not as spunky.
ummm - not true my shiba inu female just turned one and geesh she is a high terror - hasnt calmed down a bit since we got her - she play fights really hard - has given my other puppies some serious battle wounds
they are rough in a house with other dogs i think she would be better in a house with her as the only dog
I guess it is the dog then b/c our female Shiba Inu is waaaaay calmer. The only thing is she must eb the only female and she must be the biggest dog in the house, otherwise she can get nasty.
