Does anyone have positive or negative experiences and even pictures of the PWP florist work ( Richard Biancavilla). I am considering booking him but when I went to the office I really did not get to see sample of his previous work. Everything I was showed was straight from the magazines. His quote was one of the best I received . Thanks for your help!!!!!

Is he the in house florist for the Scottos? If he is he does all the flowers they have in the halls when you go and visit and he does beautiful work

we are actually using Richard from PWP too and i have to say he really does amazing work! He also gave us the best price quote from all the vendors we had gone to look at and what really sold me is the fact that if the Fox Hollow thinks he is good enough to take care of ALL the flowers on their property then he is definitely good enough for me!
My sample pictures are in my album - we're making some changes to it but overall it was exactly what I wanted and I only really described it to him over the phone - he didn't have a picture or anything to work from.

I'm using him. The flowers at the Fox Hollow are always stunning. His sample was exactly what I asked for and beautiful. A little advanced warning that he can be a little shattered so if you are looking for a very responsive vendor prior to the day he might not be the best one. However, once your day comes around you are his only focus since he doesn't do tons of events at once.
I tried to look up a web site for pwp but couldnt find it. Where are they located?

yes I think he only does Fox Hollow brides
ETS: The Watermill is also a Scotto property so they might also have their own house florist - you should give them a call and check it out!

I don't think he does only Fox Hollow Brides. I believe they work with all Scotto Facilities (ie. chateau Briand, etc.) Give them a call or check out their website.
I have a review for Richard in my wedding review. He generally was great. Awesome flowers, great prices...and the whole thing about his flower shop being on premises is true. I had a beautiful orchid in my hair that broke during the photo session (which we did before the ceremony). But my bridal attendant just ran over to richard an got me a new one. no problems at all. He was a little flaky on the administrative side of the work...with calling me back or what not. but it was worth it because he did a great job and went above and beyond in every way.

He is a bit on the flakey side, as others have said, but his work is GORGEOUS! And the price was *definitely* right.
i definitely have to look into a meeting with him. i promised FH we were going to see him b/c we get a discount per table according to our contract.
did you use him for everything or just for your reception? im in brooklyn and i dunno how i feel about having my bo-ks come in from the island

I used him for everything. I picked up my bouquets right at the hall, though.

I had the same concern about the boquets being delivered from the island since my ceremony is in Queens, but Richard assured me that he actually has another florist deliver the flowers (not just some delivery boy) and do the set up like at the house or church or whatever. this other florist that does the delivering is someone who he as worked with for YEARS.
