I KNOW I've asked this before, so I apologize, but I can't remember what people said + I was silly and didn't notebook it.

How early is too early to send out E-party invites?

We're having the party July 11th. We were planning to send them out May 11th with an RSVP date of June 11th.

I personally think it may be a bit early in general, but there's a portion of people we're inviting who never respond to anything, so I know we're going to be hunting them down for quite a few days after the RSVP date passes.

Furthermore, about 1/3rd of the list is OOTers so we'd like to give them some time to prepare. And lastly, we need to rent all the tables & chairs and such, and would like to have a month to do this.

What do you think?

IMO since it is in the summer i would do it 1 1/2 -2 mo before because people book up quickly

Re: Q

I think when you want to send them out is good... people have very busy weekends in the Summer so it's good that you are giving them a heads up.

One negative though... I had a graduation party in January and sent out the invites two months in advance (wanted to send them out before the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays). A lot of people didn't respond because they forgot about RSVPing since I sent them out so early. But then you can just stalk them lol!

Good Luck!

Hahah yeah, I'm going to have to stalk people anyway for answers, so that's ok!

My eparty is the day before your's (July 12th) and I just asked the same question. Our RSVP date is July 1st. I think we'll be sending them out right before memorial day.
